Both the Landlord and the Tenants have responsibilities in assuring that the building is managed and used at the highest level. This module covers different types of energy used in high performance buildings, and discusses different energy efficiency strategies and resources, as well as a discussion of the long term costs and benefits of energy efficiency. This module will cover the importance of sustainable site and water design to insure the long-term performance of a building. This module is geared toward the commercial real estate broker for working with clients who are interested in green building and development. It covers tools that are available for brokers to use with their clients, ways to approach clients and discuss the value of green building and design, and discusses future trends in sustainable building and design.
